That's one of the neat things about God, isn't it. It's often easy (for me at least!) to think of Him as some archaic man up there who's way behind the times. But He is not! He's way ahead of us. Like it says earlier in the same psalm, "For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night" (Psalm 90:4). It's all said and done in His eyes, and He knew how to write in a way that would be applicable to all ages. An eternally living Word.
